I had a good experience ordering my JK from Bill. The only hassle was having to drive an hour and a half to two hours to pick it up from a non-local dealer. The dealer I picked it up from jacked me around for 2-3 hours getting the transaction done.

1 - Why'd you have to drive so far? Wasn't there a closer dealer to take delivery from?

2 - There's gotta be a story with that. How did they keep you 'round? Trying to sell you crap?

I got a quote from Bill (?) at jwh.com about a week or so ago. If my dealer that I ordered my 2009 from won't match his quote once the firm 2009 prices are out, then I'm gonna canx it and order from Bill.

The dealer that Bill had me pick up my Rubicon from was the nicest guy you'd ever meet. Didn't take up much of my time at all but did tell me what I needed to know about warranty, service, the dealership and so forth, as well as about his son putting a 350 in an old CJ.
He was fully aware of the fact that I ordered my Rubicon to get it exactly like I'd want it, and at the best possible price. He knew I'd paid cash for it and it wasn't lost on him that I might be a customer for a new vehicle in the future if he had something I wanted in stock.

As far as Bill goes, what else can I say but he made the whole deal as painless as spending that much cash could be.
He is terrific to talk to, gives fast & efficient information both by phone, voice message, and email, he actually called me to tell me my Rubicon was on a train in southern Ohio on it's way, set everything up with the dealer, rushed all paperwork to me at no expense, and even told me to tell the dealership we were friends if there was any friction at the pickup.

I'll sure say this, we're friends now, good friends!
Thanks Bill, thanks a heck of a lot!

I love my Jeep!
