Has anyone else had some one hop in while you had your doors off?
So I took my wife to get a sno-cone and I had my doors off today. While sitting in-line at the drive threw there was a group of little boys about 13-15yrs old. And one of the little punks hopped in my back seat and asked it he could ride with us to get a sno-cone. wtf
I sternly told him that it was a good idea if he removed him self from my Jeep and he did.
But seriously who in there right mind would try to enter someone else's vehicle.
As we drove away after getting our sno-cones the group of boys where sitting at a table watching me (with the one that hopped in hiding his head) and I gave them a look and shook my head.
Anyone else had someone hop in there Jeep?

Close... the asshat tried when I was at a stop light. Light turned green, I go and then I heard someone yell. Look back the d bag was one foot on the side step falling off. I kept going while he tumbled along the road.

Invest in a taser, it's a non-letal way to tell someone to GTF out of your vehicle! Probably won't even get as far as hitting them with it, just light it up for a split second, they'll learn real quick! Can get a cheap one online for $10 all day.

a homeless man hit my door frame with his cane when my doors were off and asked for something. i was at a red light and felt obligated so i gave him a cup full of pennies and nickels. i just felt like there was no way in hell i was going to be like "no i have nothing for you".

last summer had a guy come right off a street corner with a "suit pack" luggage and ask me if i could get him to the airport he missed the bus.. guess it was easy to ask me since my jeep had no top and doors...
found a couple neighbor kids playing the jeep a few weeks ago in an evening... in my driveway... scared me because its a stick... the wrong combination of pedals and levers and the jeep is rolling.. so i dont park it outside any more.... I really cant believe there is no type of shift interlock..
dad's 1969 GTO is a stick and you have to have the key in and turned on for the shifter to come out of reverse...

But, yes, like he said, get a cheap one that makes that noise. As a Volunteer Sheriff, the perps are more afraid of the tazer. "Don't taz me bro" is true!

WOW!!! That is incredible! I haven't read anything like this before, coming from Doors-Off Jeepers.
Are these people crazy? Do they assume that because it's a wide open vehicle, that they somehow have the right to jump in, and/or ask for anything, like money or a ride? JEEEZ! Unbelievable! It's a PRIVATE VEHICLE, for crying out loud. WHERE..... does it say, "PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION", or, "FREE MONEY" on it???
A Tazer velcro-mounted on the Roll Bar, near the Driver, sounds like it would do the trick! I'd most likely use the Tazer if I were by myself. However, if my wife was in the Jeep with me, my full concern would be for her Safety. First... the Tazer... Second... Fist-2-Face Followup, to make sure the Asshat gets properly escorted out and gets the message.
I have no desire nor intention to harm another Human Being. But, throw my wife's Safety into those above scenerios you all described..... and I'm putting someone in the Hospital!

Thanks for the non lethal idea for the taser GoodysGotaCuda.
I always have my bowie knife that rests on my seat belt latch by my seat, but I would much rather detour someone than take their life (plus that would suck to have to clean up the mess)
ROFL that would be awesome but Im pretty sure that the roll cage would hinder that
