Mine came with a hard top, but I bought a factory soft top that I bought from another forum member. I have to say though, that once the full soft doors come out I'd love to get a bikini, windjammer, duster combo. I had that set-up for my YJ and it was great. Someday we'll have soft doors...

i went dual. i like the hardtop in the winter and the easy up/down of the soft in the summer.
when i had my YJ, i pretty much left the top down all summer, i would just flip the top up if it rained. i never used the windows in the summer......but now i'm old and wear a suit everyday and can't ride on a wet seat.
.....and my YJ had vinyl seats....i miss how easy it was to wipe the seat off and go. i wouldn't trade my YES seats though, very nice.

Not for me.... the big 4 door top is not as easy to fold down neatly IMO, I find it much easier to remove/install the hard top.
I have a cordless screw gun to zip out the bolts and an electric hoist system that I made in my garage. I can remove the front two panels, zip out the bolts and lift the top off in no time.... and then I dont have the ugly door frames still on the Jeep either
The only time I use the soft top is for wheeling, Ive thought about selling it and buying a safari top and duster cover instead.

THis is my first hard top Jeep, from a daily driver standpoint it is great. In the future I'd like for my Jeep to be a secondary vehicle with a bikini top all summer, and then hard top during the winter. The only thing I miss about the soft top is the ability to drop it whenever and where ever I am.

Freedom Top
I love the options the freedom top gives me, full top, front panels off like a big sun roof, or just the front panels on like a bikini top. With the 2 dr the top is easy to get on and off, I can lift it on and off without any help. I was topless pretty often last summer, if there was a chance of showers in the forcast I would either put the front panels on or throw them in the back just in case.
