Something seems fishy about that add. I wouldnt buy from him unless I could go and see the doors first hand before trading any money.

When you see Jeep commercials on TV....they use half-doors. When you look at the Jeep brochures, all the sexy & fun pics are of half-doors. With the flowing belt line, they also remind me of the old '50's Willy's Jeepsters. When I decided to buy a JK 4-dr Unlimited, it was clear to me what I wanted...a half-door. I live north of Seattle and when I went to my local dealership to find one, of course they didnt' have one. I asked him to search every dealership West of the Mississippi River, and he found ONE.......in Austin Tx. Rubicon, Yellow, soft top, half doors. I got on a plane a few days later, flew to Austin, drove it back to Washington. A full door makes the JK to me just another SUV. Interesting......but you don't see any threads for JK owners lusting after full doors.

Half doors are the only way to go! Perfect height and comfortable to rest your arm on, especially with top down or just opening it up. Half doors vs doors off... with these, I can't imagine taking them off, they are that good.
Yes unzipping the window is a pain. I even find myself opening the door in certain instances. Hey, comparing the pros and cons.... I think the half doors are worth it. I do like the look of a lifted JK with hard top and full doors, just not my style. Open it up!

I've only taken my doors off once .... My upper halves are off all the time unless it's raining. Unless you look down you don' even notice the doors there so there isn't that much motivation to remove them completely.

Ok, so $1k for a set of 2 front doors, and probably close to that for the reas on the Unlimited, and they're primered only. So, I've got a discontinued color (Rescue Green). What do I do for paint? Get it computer color-matched at the paint shop?
