Def go for the AEV hood if Insurance is paying for it and you'll only have to fork over a little more.

Well the wife is pretty much set on the AEV hood replacement. She says go go go!

We just have to hurry up and figure out where we'll get the extra cash. Still have to cover that deductible.

I really appreciate those pictures, it gave us both a really good idea of how it looks.

Looks like I might be making a drive over to Missoula.

We have the soft top and of course zero damage. Good luck if you have the hard top, hopefully it holds up to any storms.

Although Wild Boar makes a nice aftermarket/replacement.

Thanks... right now I have the soft top on. I was not sure if the soft top could handle it. I am glad I took the hard top off a few weeks ago, cause I knew that would not hold up. We have had a few nasties already. Thanks! for the feed back.

Soft top on mine as well. No damage to it at all. The hail was bouncing an easy 10-20 in the air though when it rebounded off the top. It was quite a sight, and I thought for sure it was done for.

I ended up with dents along the windshield frame (that they removed doing paintless dent removal)
One dent on the body behind the drivers door (also fixed by PDR)
The hood and cowling were dimpled beyond repair and had to be replaced.
