Just thought I'd post a

All too often we hear about the bad dealership experiences so here is one to balance it out a bit.

I noticed the Jeep was a little louder than normal lately so I checked the exhaust manifold and lo and behold, the driver side manifold was cracked (like many others on this forum).

I have 50k miles on the JK but I have the lifetime warranty so I decided to bring it to a local dealership for repair and to address the two recalls that needed to be done (front fender liner trim & tranny line replace). Allow me to add that it's not the dealership I bought the JK from.

I modified my exhaust from the cat back so I was ready for the dealership phone call today saying that the manifold replacement cost was not covered under warranty. logically speaking the cracked manifold had nothing to do with catback exhaust but after hearing so many dealership horror stories I expected the worst.

Well, much to my suprise, I got a call about an hour ago to come pick up the Jeep, no charge, all work under warranty.
