Got Pulled Over Today
Driving doorless for 8 years-- finally got pulled over for it!
"Where are your doors?" asked the officer.
"At home," I calmly replied.
"It's illegal to drive without them, because they're original equipment needed to pass inspection... blah blah blah...yap yap yap"
Then he let me go--- I wonder, did he really believe I was heading straight home to put them on?!?!?

if a cop pulled me over and asked me where they were i would tell him they never came with the jeep. and i was waiting for them to send me some.... they got nothing better to do than to bother you with that crap.. go find someone who is under the influence.. or something who is throwing garbage out there window don't go bothering a jeeper who has his doors off..

damn Pa sucks, I am SOOOO glad I didnt move there.....Its absolutely INSANE you can drive a motorcycle without helmet in PA but need doors on a jeep.
I was just there this weekend and I took my doors off when I got to my friends house. We went to store a couple times and the one trip I passed a State trooper twice and also stopped right next to him at red light he never even gave me a 2nd look. Not sure if he noticed my NJ plates or was just cool and couldnt give a crap that a jeep was driving without doors. They cant ticket NJ registered jeep for a PA inspection violation

At some point somebody is going to have to get a ticket and challenge it in court --- and win. Hopefully it will be a Jeeper that is fairly articulate and even-tempered.
Once it's established as a precedent, then the case can be referred to and they'll leave us alone.

Yes they can... I guess you could always fight it but who has the time.
My friend got a ticket in PA coming home from Bloomsburg. Ticket was for no mud flaps on his full size Chevy Blazer.
He could have taken off from work, driven out there and if the court date didn't get changed he could have tried to fight it, and probably would have won ( maybe ). He just paid the ticket and moved on with his life.
What I want to know is how you can carry a concealed firearm but you can't drive without doors.
