Got my first "looks like a Hummer" today
One of my neighbors came by while I was installing an intake. Was pretty impressed, said he wants one, but commented that it looked like a B.J. (hummer).
I corrected him.

My son (Curtis) and I were camped a couple weeks ago at the KOA in Moab. We were having a little ice cream at their evening social--only about 50 feet from our campsite. I didn't hear it, but Curtis later asked me if I'd heard the woman at the next table comment how our JK looked like a cheap Hummer. If I'd heard it, I guess I'd have commented that I'd seen a number of Hummers during three weeks of travel out west .. but not off the main roads and out on the trails.
Sycamore Canyon near Sedona. No Hummers here:
Dry Creek Road near Sedona. None seen here either:
Schnebly Hill Road near Sedona. Nope, not here:
Road to Tall Trees Grove, Redwood National Park, CA. Not a Hummer in sight:
Lahontan State Recreation Area near Reno. No Hummers here either:
Gemini Bridges Trail near Moab. None seen:
Canyonlands National Park, UT. No Hummers for as far as the I (edit: eye!) can see:
Now, this isn't to say that I didn't see a few Hummers here and there. Why, there were a couple rental agencies in Moab that offered them. I just didn't see any off the lots. There were a bunch of Jeeps out there, though. And maybe even a Honda, a couple Volvos, a couple Expeditions and even a Dodge van. Just no Hummers.

My brother called ours one.... I just kept staring at him until he said " kinda like a real one, an H1's with the top off" I guess I can live with that.

You guys are too much! LOL... Come to think of it you really do not see many Hummers on the trails??? Probably a good thing so us JK guys do not have to keep waiting to get by or keep pulling them out when they get stuck (often)

I took my friend out for lunch and she said " ooh I like this suzuki!"
I told her " get out of the Jeep!"
No good.
I really hate hummers and its not because I like Jeeps. I just always thought it was overkill. Plus, I only see pricks driving them. Hahah.
