I bought a JK Sahara in July, with two tops. My soft top arrived in a box with all three window panels. It is idiodic to say that the window panels wouldn't be included with the top, unless the top was a bimini. Everyone I have spoken with says that theirs came wih windows as well. Go back in and tell the dealer to take care of it or you will be complaining to DC.

This might be the dumbest thing a dealer has done.
If that saleswoman didn't apologize directly to you for that attitude, I'd see the manager and make it clear that you might have BOUGHT your Jeep from their dealership, but they'll never see another dime from you because of how they treat customers who have legitimate complaints.

Even if they DID misunderstand you, throwing attitude back in your face is no way to treat someone who is helping pay their bills.

There are plenty of Jeep dealerships out there, take your new JK to one that knows how to treat you.

(I had to fire my own dealership after shoddy work done on my Jeep when I had it in for service-- it's worth the extra 40 mile drive to know that I've got a dealership now that has competent mechanics and knows how to treat customers.)

Thanks Tedlick. I actually spoke to the owner's brother at the dealership last night. I already drove 60 miles out of my way because this was the closest 5 Star dealer when I ordered. They are so damn stupid I can't handle it. The guy tells me, well, it's a new car, how do you know it's supposed to have that? I asked them if they were kidding about a thousand times. It's like the twilight zone. I already called Chrysler and had them log the call. The one person with a brain in their head at the dealership called me back and said that they are stupid and don't understand. She is looking in service this morning for them and if for some reason they didn't ship she is going to have Chrysler send them directly to me. I honestly think it's something in the water out here in CA. I'm from NJ and this girl helping me is from Philly. She's the only one getting it done, and I think she works in finance. She should get a raise!!! And the beyotch that told me you can't order that way should be fired! Don't worry, I will be complaining. I told her that she will feel really stupid once Chrysler confirms she's wrong.

You should have gotten 2 boxes, one with the door frames and one with the windows. Make sure you get both if you didn't already get the frames!

OK, spoke to the Sales Manager again. I had no idea the girl that walked me through the financing was the Sales Manager. No wonder she was helpful. Anyway, she fought with them and said there have to be boxes in service. They continued to say no, you're wrong last night. This morning, they found both my boxes and the owner's brother who, get this...has a Rubicon and had no idea that the mats could be taken out and the Jeep hosed off! How do these people have no product knowledge? Oh well, my hubby is on the way to pick up my windows. Too bad I went to a dealership so far away.

I wonder if they took the boxes out when they prepped it for delivery and never stuck them back in. Your windows are probably somewhere in a dark corner at that dealer.

Sorry you've had to deal with such morons just to get everything you ordered! Unfortunately, your experience doesn't surprise me much. There are some terrific car salespeople out there, but there are even more who are not good at sales, and don't bother to learn anything about the products they are selling.
