What I do when I see potential scams is to contact the owner that says I have the cash available and I would like to see the vehicle this weekend. When its a scam there will always be an excuse as to why you can't see it. Some will say they are In the military and will have it shipped to you, etc. I know there are legitimate people that use gmail, I have found almost 100% of the scams involve people with gmail accounts.

I think this same ad just popped up on the craiglist for Phoenix.
I really dont get these scams. They are so blatant I couldnt imagine them working on anyone.

If you google some of the sentences in their add it will also pull up other for sale adds of theirs. They usually have one description and will only change the vehicle make and model. It's pretty easy to catch them this way.
