At least one thing is cheap about the wrangler other than the materials used to build it.... Did I just say that.... Yup!

Maybe if you are old, my insurance is ridiculous.

Is that with or without the AARP discount?

Send Geico in Md that link so they know because I don't think $150/mon is very cheap.

Before this I had an '09 Civic Si coupe, loaded. No rocketship but they are quick and sporty looking and that cost me the same as the Jeep. My gf has a loaded '09 Civic EX and only pays $75/month. Same age, both clean records. I feel screwed.

Sounds like an inside Job!!!

I just hope if something happens to me or the JK, that 160 a month will actually mean something

Yes and no.
My X is cheap to insure but I was quoted $85 more per month on the Rubicon model.
May not sound like much but thats over a thousand dollars a year I could be spending on ARB stuff.

Guessing it's like insuring a Subaru Loyale vs a WRX, just higher theft risk and more expensive model to repair.

I pay $116 a month and that includes my wife's 05 Dodge Grand Caravan, with one wreck on our record from 3 years ago. This summer we will get 25% of our premium back due to no claims in 3years. It did just go down, it was $127 per month. We also have a multi coverage policy, has our house on it too.
