Is Chrysler so dense that it doesn't know there's a huge market for this? Or a V8 powered Jeep? Or a civilian J8 or "Stripper 7"? Jeep deserves to be a stand-alone brand, so product decisions aren't being made by 'car' people. I hope Jeep doesn't become the next Land Rover.

Of course they think there is a market for this. Why else would they invest the R&D time and money into a project unless they figured there was something worthwhile to gain from it. Obviously the Gladiator isn't doing something "new" like the Hurricane was, so if the R&D isn't being spent doing something new that usually only leaves the fact that they are doing it in hopes of moving it to production.

I think they will have a BIG hit here. It's been far too long since Jeep made a truck.

apparently, the coils are some kind of coil over system.
Any idea of what type of Goodyear tire? Like the tread pattern and overall look.

Biggerer mirrors. it needs them anyhow. Always liked the spare mounted there. It would be nice if they made it optional.

I have a feeling this truck is going to be more then I can afford anyhow so I should probably stop looking.
