I guess I have a different take....
If she has a nice car for you to drive while she has your Jeep, then do it!
I love my Jeep, but it's not a classic car, rare car, or expensive car so I don't mind letting the wife drive it.

well..
normally im all for sharing my toys with my gf.. but in the case of my jeep.. not a chance. When we first started dating in college.. she was leaving my place one night and backed her car into my house. I just found out a couple months ago that a few years prior she drove her car through the corner of her parents garage. She scsares the sh!t out of me when i ride in her grand cherokee with her. so yeah.. im with the "hell no" group. I mean.. I let her drive it twice in a mall parking lot with me in the passanger seat.. because she wanted to learn to drive stick, but thats it.

My wife drives my (excuese me "our") Jeep just as much as I do (she loves it) so for me its not a big deal. I have good insurance but my wife wouldn't go to the beach without me or at least I don't think she would. lol....
Anyway, the question is how old is your girlfriend?
over 30 typically no worries
25-29 probably ok, but ask questions like who's going, you may trust her but what about her friends? Do you trust them?
16-24 Answer is NO !!! Thats too young to be trusted. The vehicle can be replaced but they're going to the beach for a reason. I'd install hidden cameras in and outside the Jeep.
