First tank 17, second 17.5, third 18. I have the 255's on 17" wheels, 4.10's. Been 50/50 city/highway miles.
I am happy. 33" mudders shouldn't hurt me too bad I figure.

19.3 70/30 highway/city My first two tanks were worse. I want to see picture proof of any claims over 20.
Oh sorry 6 speed 4.10 gears.

The display says that I'm getting anywhere between 18 and 20 mpg. So far I've had the Jeep for around 3 weeks and every tank that I have actually stopped and figured the numbers on are usually less than what is on the display. Best tank so far was 17.5 mpg... actual numbers. That was a combo of city and interstate driving. I've got 4.10 gears.

I actually got about 21 mpg on the highway, all highway, on my 2nd tank, I did the math myself not based on the onboard calculator, although it was close, about 1/2 mile off. This is on pretty flat land, running 4.10 gears, Auto, and the stock 245's, it is an Unlimited X also.
Since then I have been getting about 19 in mixed city/highway driving. I generally always get pretty good gas mileage, I guess I don't really get on it a lot, and try to use the brakes as little as possible.
My question is I am wondering how much upgrading to 285 BFG AT's will effect it?

Yeah, you guys do suck. I haven't gotten over 16mpg yet. I am hovering at around 15.5 or so. And I am running the stock 225/75R16's with the 4.10 gears.
Oh well, I hope it starts to get better.

I have been getting 19.2 to 20.7 fairly regularly, However I don't have the 4.10 Gears, I have the 3.21's or whatever they are with a 6-speed... I have about 3,300 Miles on mine and I was surprised to be getting better than sticker gas mileage according to the trip computer (I reset it every tank) I also rarely beat the snot out of the "Go Fast" petal becasue she's so new... gonna wait until the second payment comes out tomorrow
