I haven't tried to cheat my computer at all. Today on my ride home from work I checked my average MPG and it was at 25.1. I drive roughly 11 miles highway at 65mph and the last 20 around 45mph each way to work. I have 5500 miles on my Jeep right now. I really do take it easy on the gas pedal. It is just the way I drive... like an old man I suppose. My JK is a 4 door with 255/70 R17 and 4.10 gears. I love my Jeep!

Now, I have not tried to calculate the mileage myself yet, but I plan to this week. I am very curious as to how close my computer is to reality. The only type of gasoline I have used is Shell 87 octane.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? It really does seem that I can drive a hell of a long way on a tank of gas.

 

Okay, so not having one, I usually fill my vehicle up when the light comes on. How many gallons is left in the 4dr when this occurs? I am curious at how many gallons to expect to fill up in the 21 gallon tank. I am guessing around 18 gallons is when the light comes on.
