I dont even bother anymore.. when the gauge hits "E" I pull to a station and fill it up. dont even bother looking at how much it costs or the mileage im getting.. If I knew then I would have to worry about it.

i put gas every 2 days to fill it up (45 bucks) so 366/2 = 183 x 45 = $8235
i guess i will be getting a prius soon 
btw im getting 13 or 12.5 mpg and the jeep is brand new O_O... stock with 16 tires... i dont get it :( i bought it drove to Tennesse the same day and i had 22 mpg on the computer.. now it shows 12...14 if im lucky :(

they will usually get worse mileage in town when they are new...
all 3 of my JK's got TERRIBLE in town mileage till I got between 3000 and 5000 miles on them... im thinking they are de-tuned for break-in or such....
I notice in my new 2010 that each week I drive it.. driving the same places and such and my mileage is going up a bit by bit each fill-up.. im at 3500 miles now..
