I agree that there's ALOT of ways GM could really screw the merger up, but what I'm thinking is my wife's dad works for GM, and we get the employee discount all the time. Would I then get the employee discount on a jeep?

We've had great luck with reliabiltiy on all but one GM vehicle we've owned. For the one that did need service, GM was awful to deal with. My jeep dealer has been a god send on those occasions we've needed them.

It is scary, but at the same time, this could be good. I just hope that the powers that be at GM will realize that even with 4 dollar gas, Wranglers were still selling. There is a good reason. Because it's like nothing else. Turn it into a 2 door trailblazer, and they will no longer come......

I was a the dealer yesterday getting the oil changed on the wifes Dodge.

Anyway I was talking to the service guy and I said now you can also fix my chevy. He answered I can to that now so bring it in, my response was ya but it never breaks, he answered "Oh that hurts".

So we both had a good laugh.

But they are a great dealer anyway.
