I have only ridden with the doors off a few times and it was aweeessommmee.. I had actually just given some thought to this weekend taking just the front doors off and leaving the rear just so that my stuff doesn't fly everywhere when we go down offroading and climbing in the gorge here. It is also a nice change seeing as I live in an Apt and am short on space.
So all in all...GO FOR IT! It's your jeep have fun.

the problem i have is this... an angry ex-wife. if she saw me driving the kids with the tube doors on, she would make a "federal case" about it. trust me.
i rode like that a few times last year, and got my balls broke by the guys at work. i was just wondering the opinion of the forum.

i rarely ride that way... but have no problem doing so. i do it if there is a good chance of rain... kinda like damage control so to speak... two seats getting soaked is not as bad as all of them getting soaked.
i ride that way when i camp cause i sleep in the back of the jeep and dont want to wake up with a bear chewing on my head
i also ride like that sometimes on muddy trails... again damage control... but then the problem is that the natural pinstriping does not match up
ride how you like it.. oh and it is safer for the kids
