Okay folks my hardtop has no numbers on it. In fact everything about my hardtop is not original including the rear glass. A week after getting my "new" hardtop in to replace the damaged one I broke the rear window and it was replaced. No etchings, no marks, nothing identifying the hardtop I have as belonging to my jeep specifically. This could be something dealers do but mine since they were replaced do not have them. I can't speak for the old one I only had 3 weeks before it was replaced.

No? Well, I just "built" a JK on the Jeep website and didn't see them as a separate option--perhaps I overlooked them.
Yes? Then you should be missing a lot more if someone somehow forgot to enter the option into a computer.
Here's a thought: The dealer probably doesn't want your JK on the lot. But, maybe they're just pressing you a little to see if you'll accept the incorrectly configured vehicle. Unless they can see an immediate sale of your rejected vehicle pending, they just might come around and get the correct top for you.

Went to pick up my new Rubi last night and it didn't come in as ordered. The person entering the order somehow skipped the dark tinted windows. They offered to have the windows tinted for me but I refused. I know if I do that about one week after owning the car I will somehow scratch the tint and it will always bug me. I like my cars mint and they usually look as good when I sell them as they did when I bought them. I asked them to simply swap the back of the freedom top or order me a new back section with the tinted windows or put new windows in, but they said the Freedom Top and windows were all tagged with my VIN number on them. Is that true? My experience with this dealer to this point has been excellent. They said if I didn't want to take delivery I didn't have to, which I didn't, and we just ordered another one, but now I'm back to waiting!! Anyone have any suggestions here or know if the Freedom Top is actually tagged with the VIN?
if they got scratched, you could always have if replace before you sell.
It just seems like you are going through way too much trouble over windows.
IMHO of course.
