Default Freedom Top Panels....

OK so I have been very excited... freedom top has been through rain, sleet, snow, carwash and never ever ever a leak! That in mind, I took the two front panels off this past weekend, and when I pull off the drivers side panel and swung in down by my side I heard water swooshing around inside. Almost as soon as I heard the water, it started to drain out of corner. Do you think with the cold weather and the warm interal temp it was condensation buildup inside the panel shell? Like I said above, never so much as a drop in the cap???

There should not be any water inside the top. Condensation will only occur if there is moisture inside the top and like I said, there shouldn't be any. I would have that checked by the dealer if I were you. I should be getting my JK soon with the freedom top and so far that is my only concern after hearing other peoples horror stories. Keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck with yours.

Like I said, I have had not water inside at all... I am going to pull the tops off tomorrow night when I get home from work, and see if there are any stress cracks etc... After that I am going to take it to dealer for closer look.Good luck with yours... you will love it.
