It was a nice warm day today so I popped my panels off. Well, where the two panels meet in the middle...where they connect to the rest of the hardtop just over the soundbar, there was this black goop that stretched like cheese when I took the panels off. I had the panels off all day Sunday. It rained Monday, so I put the panels on plus I got a little muddy. Tuesday I washed her off. Is it normal for the gasket to do this? Or should I worry?

 

I've had my jeep about 10 months now and that section still strings up when I take the panels off

 

Mines about a week old. I guess it's normal? Kinda creeps me out.

 

Mine did that. Not sure why.
