Just kidding, I'm in the same boat at home. I get the, "I hate taking the jeep, it's to hard to get in and out of" line all the time, or "we are not taking the jeep, you have no top on it". It's all part of my plan to keep them the hell out of my rig.

When I first got my Jeep the gf hated it and openly expressed it.. Just to get back at her whenever we went somewhere I drove.

Then one day she asked if she could take it and my response was "Nope, You hate it remember"

Now she loves it..

Cool

We are all in the same boat uhhhh jeep I mean. I can paint my jeep pink and my darling doesn't notice. Ooohh put on side bars the other day and she complained that her 'step' was gone, sooooooo

I have to go camping and toshing about bying a roof top tent so 'we' don't have to sleep on the ground, lots of creepy crawlies here. Wandering if I will get my beloved wife up the ladder...........

Any guys with wifies who love jeeps? My darling wanted a landcruiser instead, how sad

I have to agree, I hear it when we have the top off and going out... "The wind is gonna F up my hair" lol. That is only when we are going to a nice dinner or something, she doesn't mind if its to the beach, cruising around, boardwalk etc.

I sold my 2009 Land Rover LR3 and my 2009 Range Rover Sport supercharged for my JK. I like them a lot, but I never loved them. I thought I was going to have to find a new home the first time she rode in the new jeep, I got the "WTF were you thinking" look. To her it was a downgrade, to me I was back in heaven. Including this one, I have now owned 5 jeeps in my lifetime. If you don't get it, there is nothing I can do for you. It is what it is

She says it drives like a tank. Hard to get into. The only time she likes it is when the temp is above 25C with the top off. I showed her some pics of tires I wanted to buy and she told me she can't tell the difference. Now I'm thinking "SWEET! a new set of tires and she won't even notice"

Oh, trust us.....once the new tires are mounted on the jeep, somehow they always know! When I got my jeep back with the new Dynomax exhaust, I figured the wife won't even notice. Not only did she notice, she made me open up the hood to prove I hadn't shoved a Hemi in there. I laughed and handed her the keys, told her "drive it and tell me if there is a Hemi in there". One lap around the block later, she declared it was a still a pig, laughed and said I was a redneck.

When I 1st decided to buy my Jeep, my wife said she hated it. Said it's "ugly", and "You should get a Hummer (H3) instead". She didn't talk to me for a week after I brought it home. A week later I let her drive it.....she started to warm up to it....a month later GM announced they were getting rid of the Hummer brand. I then let her drive it again with the top off.....she got a lot of compliments from other people.....2 months later she came to me and said, "Honey....I'm sorry....you were right.....I'm glad you didn't listen to me and bought the Jeep".

So now I don't have to get rid of the wife or the Jeep and in the end, this is how I felt.
