Four Door Jeep JK Makes the Cover of Overland Journal!!!!
Overland Journal, for those of you who are unfamiliar with it, is a very high quality, quarterly publication for the crowd that is into overlanding--extended, multi-night trips in four wheel drive environments. Because of the need for gear to support such an endeavor, this is the domain of Land Rovers and Land Cruisers, but historically not Jeeps. However, on the cover of the 2011 Gear Guide is a four door Jeep JK. This is really huge. Of note is that the cover is actually a drawing, and the hood is cutaway to reveal--you guessed it--a hemi. Anyway, I can't wait to dig into this issue. I'm so excited!!!!

Overland or Expedition style is exactly what I'm going for. Been there/done that on the rock crawling, mud bogging, etc and I'm over it. I like that I can take everything for an extended trip, including creature comforts and still go places that most can't.
I'm glad to see overland taking notice, though this is not a huge surprise as the JK's have been getting more love in this area because of the interior changes as well as the Unlimited.
