It's a rubicon on mud tires, what did anybody expect. We need to make up some lists and sell them to all the media outlets. The pollsters and all these automotive analysts do it.

Why would it be on the "cars to avoid" list. The wrangler does not pretend to be a car anyway.

Forbes was not thinking of the poor cute little kittens when they call it a car. The bastids.

I decided to go and check on the price for a FJ cruiser 4x4 auto.. it cost 32k O_o !! I was for that price I would get a Rubicon that comes AWESOME from factory! and you can remove doors and roof... ! I used to like the FJ cruiser when I was 14 because I used to off road with a bunch of friends I had a 1989 jeep cherokee laredo 2 door with ATS tires and a small lift and they had a old Rover defender (really beat up) and a 72 FJ cruiser.. I used to love the cruiser because you could take the doors off and roof and because in the country I was living there was no Jeep Wranglers allowed :'( because of emisions bs. nowdays the FJ cruiser has gone wrong.. and became a grocery getter with good old name. I really dont understand people buying the FJ... is not the same as the old one.. "granted JEEP wranglers have change too" and I do miss my inline 6... but is evolving... FJ is going backwards...

Volvo and Jeep didn't provide any 'KickBacks" to forbes writers. Thus they get slammed.

wrangler is actually on the cheap end to insure. aol autos has it ranked as the 14th least expensive ny times is 5th. My 13 is the least expensive on my policy. From the wrecked wranglers I have seen they hold up well. Can be expensive to repair though.
