Yeah, factory coils don't like doing the hard work but it proves your point. It's factory coils (no "lift") but longer shocks and it certainly has more "flex" than a stock setup.

Once you hit the 2.5" lift area, you can run up to about a 12" travel shock depending on your coils extended length. MCs are the longest. You could run about 12" on a stock setup but your coils will be an issue. This is all with stock mounts also.

Agree, but part of the lift is longer shocks so it will flex more.

but thats where you have to be careful to many kits include shocks that arent ideal, or shocks that are listed a 3-5" lift or 0-3" lift. They shouldnt be listed that way. If you go up to a 3" lift now or possibly even a 3.5 doesnt mean youll get more flex. It could be the same shock lengths

My shocks are 14.98" collapsed and 24.63" extended, not too terrible but also not a 12" shock.
