I'm a Jeep guy to the core, but don't discount those FJ's for a second. The 4x4's with that trick traction setup will flat embarrass a stock X. I'd say it would take a Rubi to run with the FJ offroad when you compare both stock to stock with all the factory goodies. I considered my 90 YJ to be pretty badass (lift and 33" Swampers, totally built engine) and my buddies FJ would walk up stuff I had trouble with. Working on my buildup now just so I can hang!

I've seen the convertible one and it looks just like a PT Cruiser

We were playing in the snow this weekend and one got stuck in the field we were in while a 1/2 ton Ford / 1/2ton Chevy / 1Ton Dodge were just fine.... yeah that's offroad prowess !

I used to own a 2003 4 Runner V8 and trust me my Jeep is much funner / much better at offroading and it has the same chassis as the FJ. I also had a 06 Xterra with the 4.0L V6 which is simiilar to the FJ and I still would take my Jeep over either of them any day !!!!
