I went wheeling with a Fj a few weeks ago... we got less then half way up the mountain and he SNAPPED his front pass side shaft
on a stump in the trail It was super funny. A friend of mine with a stock X had to pull him of it. O by the way the Fj had the ome kit and some Baja claws. Those things SUCK

I had a yj and a tj before i bought an fj cruiser. they are fast and smooth but very top heavy. decent offroad when i did but i could not get used to not having a wrangler. I feel the wrangler is more offroad capable and everyday driver than whats out there. my 2 cents worth

The difference really is that one is built to be... well............a Jeep. The other is a four-wheel-drive vehicle that was meant to be a retro-SUV type of vehicle with little/no access to the rear seats. It, like most vehicles, was not built to be a Wrangler and although compared (like all 4WD vehicles) to the Wrangler will always fall short in wheelbase, turning radius, length and many other Wrangler dominated features including removable top and fold-down windshield.

Im not gunna bash the FJ. Its a neat vehicle. It could have used a removable top but oh well..
Ive been on the FJ forums a couple times, nice people and they love our Jeeps. They wheel too. Anyone who wheels is good by me. Besides Id rather see more FJ's and Hummers on the road than Smart Cars, Prius and all these other "green" cars that look like electric shavers.

FJ's are nice
They ride like a lexus thats lifted and JC Whitney has lots of accessories for them...
Then again so do mustangs and Honda Civics...but I wouldnt want to 4 Wheel with any of those.

I found a lot of forums for FJ cruiser with also many mods companies made.
It looks average, but has great power 240 hp with accelerate speed from 0-60mph in 7.6 sec
Internal space is larger than 2dr and its price is challenger to others companies.
So what do you think about this car, will it take the customer from the JK?
