Default First road trip with new gears and tires. 12mpg?!

Did my first highway driving (70-75mph) with my 35"s and 4.88s. Does 12mpg sound about right? 3000rpm. Jesus, I wasn't expecting it to be THAT bad :(

Did you rcalibrate your speedo?

If the answer is no than the mileage will not be accurate. It is not too accurate to begin with but it will be way off if you did not recalibrate.

No, guess I didn't account for that. I guesstimate a 12% correction. This would give me about 13-14mpg. Thanks for the reminder. I overlooked that...

Best thing to do is get a AEV ProCal and correct the speedo and other things.

Is that one a "tuner" also? Or are they all EEC tuners these days?

They don't make a true tuner for anything after a 2010 Jeep. If yo go to AEV website and look up the ProCal you can get the details.
