OK............. I have completed the removal of the damn auto shifter knobs......... After alot of anger, certain choice words..... a leatherman tool channel locks and a BFH.... once I calmed down I used the BFH... That is a good note to pay attention to....
The 4x4 shifter was the one I needed the hammer a towel and channel locks.. towel around the 4x4 knob to limit if not avoid damage and channel locks with a loose grip but on the lip to get it to move slight hits and it will LAUNCH........... auto knob was easier pull with anger and hatred and you might knock yourself out if you dont pay attention....
