I would think a lot about the X or a Sahara, they are pretty capable off road and way cheaper.
I live in RSM as well and I just ordered mine at an awesome price. PM me if you want info.

Thats a good point N2Rock, I didn't specify what I wanted. I want an auto/4.10gears/35s maybe bigger and a decent sized lift, nothing crazy. My friend wants the same as I do. I wish to be able to get a Rubi by the end of this year if possible, i'm just a little upside down with my Escape right now and want to get that fixed and once I can I will jump into a Jeep. I get tired of not being able to go far in the Escape and if I could I would really mod it but there isnt any thing out there.

Yeah....my problem comes for driving to fast....I used to have a Mustang...after my third ticket I needed to slow myself down..a LOT, so I went the SUV route, it has helped tremendously, but seeing as how the Escape can GO, I didnt slow down to much. With something like a 4-door Jeep I know I will go oh so slow. BTW, my last ticket was for going 98mph on the Toll Roads.(SoCal people know what road i'm talking about, LOOONG straight aways.)
