I would think a lot about the X or a Sahara, they are pretty capable off road and way cheaper.

I live in RSM as well and I just ordered mine at an awesome price. PM me if you want info.

Thats a good point N2Rock, I didn't specify what I wanted. I want an auto/4.10gears/35s maybe bigger and a decent sized lift, nothing crazy. My friend wants the same as I do. I wish to be able to get a Rubi by the end of this year if possible, i'm just a little upside down with my Escape right now and want to get that fixed and once I can I will jump into a Jeep. I get tired of not being able to go far in the Escape and if I could I would really mod it but there isnt any thing out there.

Yeah....my problem comes for driving to fast....I used to have a Mustang...after my third ticket I needed to slow myself down..a LOT, so I went the SUV route, it has helped tremendously, but seeing as how the Escape can GO, I didnt slow down to much. With something like a 4-door Jeep I know I will go oh so slow. BTW, my last ticket was for going 98mph on the Toll Roads.(SoCal people know what road i'm talking about, LOOONG straight aways.)

Oh, and N2, you have the same color Jeep I want. I have always had a thing for dark green on cars. (spawned from my first love affair, '73 Ranchero.)

I have an '08 stock Unlimited getting about 21-22mpg. No stalls with almost 9000 on the odometer. My hardtop doesn't leak and my dashboard isn't all scratched up.
