Default Fakeicons......on display.

Or maybe it should have been called "this is how shady we are" on display. While driving through a remote part of the valley yesterday morning I saw something that made me almost wreck, barf, and scream all at the same time. The dealership is called something stupid like karspluswherehouse or something along those lines. On high rise displays in front they have 2 4door rubicons for sale. Since my eyes are now trained to see and recognize the shape of a jeep in a split second even in the worst condition or poorest lighting, I immediately went into "check it out" mode and noticed something was VERY wrong. At first I noticed that the rubicon decals themselves were cheap knock offs in the wrong font and size. The wheels were way to tiny and bald looking to be rubi wheels. And they had left the darn "X" and "sahara" stickers on to boot!!!!!
I can imagine the conversation now...... "hey Juan".... "I know how to sell those jeeps faster!!! Let's get some rubicon stickers that the expensive ones all seem to have! Noone will ever notice the difference!"
My only hope at this point is that when selling their jeep or trading it in to this dealership, the original owner somehow convinced these idiots that their jeep was indeed a rubicon to get top trade in value hahaha. Then he told his friend that also owned a jeep to do the same thing! Either way... sone poor new jeeper is going to be bummed when they find out the jeep they just bought is only 2wheel drive.

Call Chrysler. I personally have my view about when an individual does that, but for a dealership to misrepresent . . . that is theft by deceit.

Really pathetic that they think someone interested enough in a Jeep wouldn't know the basics of what a Rubicon is...

Sadly, I think a lot of people get the RUBICON because they like the looks of the tires, or heaven forbid, just the sticker.
