Default Factory fog switch for offroad lites..?

I doubt it would be an issue, just asking if anyone has done it....

i'm wanting a stubby bumper with the winch between the frame rails, so i will loose the factory fogs...

SO... my question is...

would there be any problem using the factory fog light switch and wiring to run a set of offroad lites..? ( will they handle a set of lites that takes more power?)

thanks for any info... or if you've heard good or bad info

Use a relay, so there is no load on the current switch. That way... no worries!

You can't use aftermarket lighting with the stock fog lights. As said, the only way to do it is to wire up a relay, or use fogs that have lesser or equal wattage as the factory fogs.

Otherwise, you'll have issues.
