I've noticed the 303 helps hide the wax residue if you get it on your fenders since it seems to moisturize the plastic. It won't fix it permanently, but you are supposed to reapply the stuff every couple of months anyhow. So if you start to see the wax spots on your fenders, spray some more 303 on. You also don't have to get your fender spotless to apply it. I buy mine at the local boating goods store. Really is great stuff. I've also heard it cures the common cold.

Indeed, it makes them nice and black without making them shiny.
