extended warranty
Anybody have any information on the Extended Warranty that DC offers. Curious as to how much it costs? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I ordered my JK on 11/9 and am D1 status as of last week!

I was curious about extended warranty also, but i've always been told not to get the extended warranty at the time of purchase and to get it after the fact, that way the dealer doesn't get their cut, lol.... Nothing against the dealer, but I bought my car 6 1/2 hours away from home... why am I particularly interested in helping them out?

I asked about the extended warranty. I live in Canada and factory warranty is 3 yr 60k km bumper to bumper, 5 yr 100k km powertrain.
For $2700 option only the powertrain warranty was extended to 7 yrs 115k km.
A mere 15000 km for $2700?..... not at all a good buy for me

I bought the extened for 6 yrs 72,000 miles and it was less that $1500.
DC must have different prices for dealers.
No, that ia a total of 6 years not an extra 6 years......
Covers almost everything and towing and rental car and no deductible at the original dealership and $50 dedeuctible everywhere else.

I had a 6yr/100,000mi warranty on my '03. It was a Zero deductible. All I can say is that it was well worth it. It covered everything, including towing and either a rental car or loaner from the dealership. I didn't buy one it when I bought the Jeep. DCX sent me a flier in the mail about 3-6 months after my purchase and I did it then.

It does happen. My local club has a dealership as a sponser so there are really no issues. I was out of state twice with mine and got service. Although a little reluctant (they didn't know me), once they pulled up the VIN, they did it. I know there are horror stories of dealerships. Just take the time to seek a good one. They are out there.
