Default Dumbest thing you've done to your JK

Well I went to the local store to pick up my weekend brew.......Parked next to a guard rail........went inside, bought the beer..........came out and got back in the JK.......pulled out and forgot the guard rail was next to me

Why I didn't stop as soon as I heard the noise, I have no answer for that.

The Rubi rock rails to the brunt of it, scratched the fender pretty good, and scratched the rim.

I'll have to say, after hearing the noise it made, I was quite relieved that this is all that happened.

Can anybody top this?

Leaving the doors unlatched, twice. Kids opened the door with the grace of a rhino and put a good sized dent on both sides of the car. Looks like an easy fix though. One day I'll get around to unbolting that piece of body and pounding it back to shape. Anyone fix their "door dimples?" If so please tell how it went.

Oh, and mudding but forgetting to wipe the mud off the fan. Mud caked between the fan and shroud, fan froze and fried motor and depleted the a/c.

isn't this a regular occurance for you

Dumbest thing I've ever done is try to wheel a serious trail in AT's. Destroyed one of them and the rest had the side walls so tore up I was afraid to drive it. Didn't get stuck and no damage to the vehicle, but dumb none the less.

There are many - but you asked for the dumbest... I had my wipers up while I was cleaning the windshield and some time later leaving them up I opened the hood - it puts really interesting scratches on the hood - who knew the edges of the wipers were so sharp? That was in the first month of ownership....

dumbest thing is I put my cb mount on the license plate plastic holder and then decided I should relocate to the rear near the tire for more height. I have a nice hole in the license plate plastic cover.

Lord I hope not. That was the first and so far the last time. I'm sure it won't be the LAST time overall, though. LOL
