My understanding is CJ stood for civilian jeep. The others are just letter designations
used by the company when changing models. I read this somewhere but can't remember where.

Default Wikipedia

If you go to the WIKIPEDIA site basically tells you the different model and year of the jeep. It doesn't give you a definition of what it means except for the CJ- Civilian Jeep

At least with KY it wont be as dry when Chrysler makes us grab our ankles.

Couldn't disagree more.... But people tell me all the time I should have bought a "real" jeep when they see my 4 doors. While im not a huge fan of the square headlights, I regularly see yj's that are bad a$$ that I am thoroughly impressed with, and the last thing goin through my mind is yuppie.
