Default Driving slow

I really enjoy driving slow in my JK and it really pisses my friends and family off, especially if I am following them. Granted I am not driving a speed demon, for some reason the Jeep makes me want to drive slow and enjoy the ride.

I feel like I drive slow as I usually go the speed limit or below. A comfortable drive for me is - summer weather, top down, radio loud and speed around 45mph It drives people nuts behind me! When I take my Jeep off road I always drive slow

Nothing wrong with that. Well, except for that "car" reference. A Jeep is not a car; it is not a truck. It's in a class all of it's own making. Therefore, we call them "Jeeps".

Yep, it's all good. I like cruising and seeing everything. Even some easy trails that I could drive fast on, I usually just put around in 1st and enjoy the scenery.

I go slow too...
save gas...and enjoy...
At 60MPH I get close to 21MPG, but at 70-75 I get close to 15MPG...
I never seen so many cars passing me before...

I don't like driving slow but I find myself doing it in the Jeep, I feels more relaxed when driving it.

My other car is a 400hp / 400 lb/ft GTO and I am usually more alert when driving it, it's a different beast, the steering, clutch, shifter and suspension are harder and contrary to the Jeep, it feels much slower than it's actual speed.

I need to adjust my driving habits when going from one to the other.

I got a Jeep because I wanted to go anywhere, not anywhere fast.

Don't worry about it bud.. Everyone gets mad at me for driving slow too.. It's pretty funny, because I used to be a speed demon!! The JK has definately slowed me down.. I've said it before on this forum, that I enjoy just driving, listening to the wind, hum, etc. Hell, if we wanted to go fast, we would have never bought a JK.. Driving the Jeep is the best part of my day!!
