Driving in Ice, and Snow WOW!!!
My first winter in a JK, and all I can say is WOW. I can't believe the traction even in 2wd in snow and ice, Also the anti lock works better the my last SUV, or my wife's Nissan Altima.

i love driving in the snow
but i mean, .. let it snow already! it's coming down outside but like blowing sideways and not sticking, just blowing upon crevices.. like a dry snow i guess you'd say.. snow plows are now my enemy this time of year.

The JK is great in snow/ice on-road. My TJ was horrible in the snow if it wasn't in 4x4, I remember being embarassed trying to get out of a store parking once with like 2" of snow on the ground. Often I don't even need 4x4 with the JK. Those newfangled, wiz-bang electronic gizmos can be beneficial

you dont have to have a rubi to get stuck in packed snow. First snow fall sent me for studded winter tires. I rarely have to use 4 x 4 now, great traction even in 2 wd. My recomend to everyone is to get rid of the stock tires and get a set of winters.

I agree the JK is great in the snow. My wife had a Liberty before and that was great also but not as good as the JK. I had Goodyear Silent Armors put on when I got it and they are a great snow tire. I had them on the Liberty also and have them on my Cummins Diesel. Best tire I have used in the snow.
The Breaks are great also, I can hardly git it to skid on the snow, the antilocks hardly ever kick in.
