You guys must get more rain. Sometimes I park it in the driveway if it is going to rain so I get some stuff off. If I drive on the beach, I take it through a touchless to get the undercarriage sprayed.
Otherwise, I wash it in the grass so that the runoff waters my lawn some.

Take mine through the touchless wash now and then.
If I want more detail work done I just park her in the driveway and continue where the touchless left off
Cuts down on time geting her clean
Cheers,

I've taken my soft top through the car wash.
DONT FORGET TO TAKE OFF YOUR ANTENNA!
I do it when it's really really dirty. Then I take it home, wash it again with Armor-All wipes, clean the fenders, mirrors, door surrounds, bumpers and window seals with 303 Protectant.
After that, I use Eagle-One Nanowax and wax the entire thing.
Use Armor-All inside on all the interior.
It looks better than the day I bought it.
Unfortunately I only have a crappy cell phone pic of it. But it was SO shiny and sharp looking, I turned more heads with it this way then I have with the top and doors off and muddy.

There's a couple joints near my pad that have the "100% hand wash" (no brushes, rollers, or other mechanical washing floggers) special for like $8.95 (it's usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday). Most of those cats do a really good job. Throw in a couple bucks tip for the cat that wipes your rig down, and you're out of there for under 11 bones...not too shabby. I usually do this once a month or so.
