I apologize for the rant and if I've put this in the wrong spot.

I’ve seen a few threads about someone insulting your JEEP. At the time I read these, I thought: “OK! It’s can’t be that bad. I’ve had a few JEEPs and this has never happened to me. It must be a rare occurrence.”
Then, I changed my tune when it happened to me.

So, I pull up in a parking spot and a man and his son were walking by as I exited the JEEP. His young son said, “Look at the Hummer, Daddy!” OK, at this point, I just kind of laughed and started to politely correct the young boy and maybe offer an interesting JEEP fact. Before I could… The Dad said, “No son. That’s just a little bitty truck.” I was speechless! And I hope I didn’t give them the “DEATH” look (I’ve got one of those, ask my boys). The real kicker was my JEEP stands 6ft 5in tall. This man was shorter than my wife (5ft 4in). The next kicker, he walked a few cars down and buckled his son in the back seat of a Honda Accord. I guess it still wouldn’t have mattered if he got into a Monster Truck. Who knows? I’m still trying to figure this one out.

I apologize for not sympathizing with everyone who has written about someone insulting your JEEP. I now understand your frustration!

jeeps are pretty small compared to a hummer. yes they are ugly and useless but they're huge bone stock. at least he didn't call it a car

 

He was probably just trying to make you feel bad because I'm sure he never hears is son say "wow daddy, look at that nice shiny Honda it looks like ours". Too bad his father doesn't have the same taste in vehicles otherwise his son wouldn't have to bruise his ego.
