Done a little driving through the rain with top and no doors. Storms tend to just show up in OK, and I end up throwing up the soft top while at work. It all gets wet inside sitting in the parking lot, but I don't get hit by the rain at all on the drive home.

But I agree. This has been a crappy summer in NY. Temps below 80...raining every other day...my poor boat hasn't see a body of water larger than a mudpuddle in 2 years.
The wife even thought about selling it to buy a couple kayaks. She said we'd get more use out of them than our boat.

I run soft top withOUT doors/windows all summer. Only put the doors on if a big storm is coming. Keeps the hot sun off and I like te way it looks.

during the summer i usually run doors off top on... keeps the sun off me and it is much more pleasant in the 100 degree 160% humidity in the dirty south

With all the rain we have been getting here in NY I have been doing the same. Works well!

I had to drive with soft doors in that thunderstorm with hurricane winds we got a few days ago.

That was...interesting.
