I work on new home construction, so anytime I hear that ticking I'm always hoping it's just a rock and not a nail or screw

everytime i take the jeep to the boat, they have gravel parkinglots. on the way out it is like a shooting gallery

my kids have even gotten used to it, so anytime we drive on gravel they start looking around and listening for the "tap shoe" sound and wait for them to fly out and make the loud noises.

my tires sometimes like to pick those up and throw them into the side of the jeep thats the sound i hate. i got hit in the arm once with the doors off from a rock off the tire, it was kinda funny but damn that sucker hurt..
