I have 4 dogs. I found that the wire brush I use on them. Works very good on the carpet as well. A word on travel with dog in the jeep. Blankets...used army wool blankets are the best. towels are sheets don't stand up as good as U.S. surplus. rolled on liner just on the floor front n' rear.

As for hair removal in the jeep I bought some padded interlocking exercise equipment mats at Lowe's and cut to fit the back and seat backs. I then added a 1/8th inch MDF to cover the gap in the floor from seats. I use a 3M lint roller which is great compared to the cheap Walmart brand rollers. After you roll the back I then use a undercoat rake to get what hair is left deep in the carpet. Hope this helps Chris

Any one tried the brand Hatchbag?
Has anyone used a "Hatchbag"???
I don't think I'm creative enough to make my own cargo liner, and I like the concept of the Hatchbag, but they don't have any pictures of one in an Unlimited.
Looking for pro's / con's / suggestions...

I use a wet vac to suck up the hair of my labrador, I mean I use it on him a few times a month and he doesn't mind a bit.... , for the JK I use the wet vac as well and those lint rollers and it works fine.....
I hope we know not to lower the rear seats as there are many sharp edges in the seat mechanism.....I read sonewhere here that one of us had their dogs ligaments cut by these seat brackets...

No kidding...
This is just from one trip with our crew. We had the entire back spotless before the trip and then took the zoo for a ride...yes it is a black back...
...took almost half an hour to clean!
The next day we went back to the blanket but they all decided to shred it to make beds while we drove - less hair but more mess!
Most important part of the clean up is the Febreeze from the wet dog smell!
