My wife is the reason we got the Jeep. We are a one car household and when my 350z started getting a little long in the tooth and my wife was getting sick of it she was saying she wanted a Jeep. We thought about getting a grand cherokee b/c of the bigger engine but once they put the 3.6 in the Wrangler we jumped on it. If it wasn't for her input I would have just traded my 350z in for an infiniti g37c or a 370z.
My wife hated how low the 350z was.... right now she is happy with the stock Jeep, but I have a feeling she will be annoyed once I put the lift on the Jeep so we'll see how it goes.
Going from a sports car to the Jeep has actually been pretty nice... I wasn't driving my Z very fast anymore b/c I am no longer 22 and I got most of that out of my system. I like the Jeep b/c I don't have to worry as much about scratching the bumpers on curbs and bottoming out. Also the price for gas hasn't gone up much b/c even though its a little less effecient it used 87 octane instead of 93, and oh yea my insurance premiums have gone WAY down.

My wife fell for me with the 1st two Jeeps (she was the girl next door). But after we got married and had our second child on the way I bought one after she asked me not to....and then another.....and then lots of time in the garage, on the Jeep boards and MONEY. She hated them after that. Four years after I sold the last one, she agreed to buy another and I included her in every decision to buy, gave her custody 3 days a week to take the kids to the waterpark and agreed to clear out my Buggy project to make room for the permanent topless Jeep. Oh....and I bought a 4 door. Now it's as much her Jeep as it is mine and my two kids. I'm glad God showed me the propery order of life....I know we'll enjoy this Jeep as a family. Now I just have to try to negotiate on mods

The wife hates when it's doorless. She hates when it's topless and the sun is too hot. She hates the wind blowing her hair in every direction. She hates climbing into it half the time. She hates how much time I spend working on it, modding it, or just standing outside looking at it. She hates the UPS guy who brings me everything I order for it.
But if we're out on the town, and someone makes a comment like "Nice Jeep!" she suddenly transforms into this "Jeeper" and says "Thanks! It's pretty cool, huh!" followed by a list of mods done to it and how much she enjoys taking it to the beach, the mountains, bringing our dogs and all our gear....
Drives me bonkers
The other day she randomly said "I think I'm gonna trade my 350Z in for a Jeep... in Winter Chill... but it's gotta have the bigger tires on it."

My gf/soon to be fiancée loves it with the doors off. At first she didn't want anything to do with it when I took the doors off, but after one ride she loves them off. I guess women are just scared of the fact that there is nothing holding them in the vehicle besides the seat belt....

My wife of 29 years christened my JK "Girlfriend".
Same reason that a lot of wives say that. I spend more time with her, I spend more money on her, I take my girlfriends top off more that I do hers (oops, I've said too much)
She loves my "Girlfriend" anyway and always wants to borrow her. (I wonder if they talk about me when they're alone ?)
