I run somthing like that when im at the ranch so if I shoot a hog/deer I dont have to put it in the cap and leaves the tailgate accessible.

 

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I got the harbor freight hitch extender only 19 bucks but it would be a pia to pull off basket just to access tailgate area so I will use front receiver just when I go scavenging which is never often enough.

Run your jeep however suits your needs. Its a dang sight better than the pitiful chromed out jeeps running wagon wheels!

Reminds me of a jeep at our local driving range, used to rake up balls..., that aside..., versatility.., wow, what a great idea, especially if you need to tow a trailer.
