Default Does any dealership warranty their service work anymore?

Just wondering as the more I find out about our "major" engine failure, and the $6000 it will cost to repair, it appears that the valve and rocker had just been adjusted during the 100k "tune up" service and now resides in the cylinder.

Is this like most other things these days and simply not their responsibility? My baby has been well serviced so this has been quite a hit and with the poor service from that particular dealership, just wondering if this is just my luck or the norm?

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Well, I'm not familiar with your particular experience, but I can assure you that my local Jeep dealership service department has been quite incompetent through several changes of ownership. So I would say it's "the norm."
