Default Does Anniversary 10X Bumper Use Air Dam?

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if the anniversary 10X bumper still uses the air dam or if there is a specific one for it? I used to just throw it out when installing a new bumper, but I drive in the highway a lot and I like the way it keeps the hood from jumping around.

Thanks,
Dom

Why don't you get yourself new hood latches? I got Daystar and it was one of the best mods for $20. Sorry it doesn't answer your question, but something to consider!!

10th anniversary bumper uses a different air dam than the plastic standard one. It is metal. FYI part number is 82214330.
Do a google search for that mopar part. Cheapest i found was $130 from one of those discount mopar parts places and I took it. Have seen people try and get around $300 for used ones which is crazy in my opinion. Steve white motors on eBay finally has it down to $180. He was originally one of those looking for $300.

I have one with less than 300 miles on it. You can have it for 100.00 plus shipping.

Thanks for the reply. All the pictures I saw looked like there was an air dam there but I didn't get one in the bumper I bought. Of course mopar would charge separate for that.

Thanks!

I made my own out of steel to protect the linkages there.

My 10a's hood fluttered when crossing path with big trucks at 60 mph, and it has the air dam with the bumper. Someone suggested removing the spring by the middle hood latch, and it worked perfectly. No more fluttering at any speed.
