I signed...

The 4BT swap kits are 9.8k right now. Engine Swaps are just too uneconomical for 95% of drivers out here.

9.8k kit + 4K motor + 2k Trans = 15.8k, plus all the extras and you're looking at close to 20k for just a motor swap.

Love to have a diesel engine in my jeep period..my opinion all vehicles except sportcars should come with a diesel engine. I don`t think this hybrid/electric deal is gonna work here in the USA. Diesel seems to be the answer

Jeep simply has to decide to use it, and they can. All government "blocks" have passed.

Well if that 3.0 Vm Motori goes into the Jk I will trade my 2,8 VM 428RA DOHC which is for the momment on my rig.
I hope that will come true early next year for you guys. That's a gossip but will become truth. 2012 will become diesel return year for the jk in usa.

Those new 3.0 diesels are better.

With or without the lag I love diesels with torque for a 4x4.

:-)
Cheers

My wife has the Audi Q7 TDI. It's a phenomenal engine. Unfortunately in LA, diesel is 10 cents more than premium fuel!
