The 4BT swap kits are 9.8k right now. Engine Swaps are just too uneconomical for 95% of drivers out here.
9.8k kit + 4K motor + 2k Trans = 15.8k, plus all the extras and you're looking at close to 20k for just a motor swap.

Love to have a diesel engine in my jeep period..my opinion all vehicles except sportcars should come with a diesel engine. I don`t think this hybrid/electric deal is gonna work here in the USA. Diesel seems to be the answer

I hope that will come true early next year for you guys. That's a gossip but will become truth. 2012 will become diesel return year for the jk in usa.
Those new 3.0 diesels are better.
With or without the lag I love diesels with torque for a 4x4.
