I remember checking mine about 2 years ago on kbb.com. I am thinking that site isn't that great. I remember it was worth 17 grand in good condition. I just checked it today and it saying $20,800 in good condition. How is that possible. My jeeps 4 years old this year. Someone would really pay close to that for a 2007 jk? I find that hard to believe.

I've been seein saharas online at "volume" dealers listed for low $27000s and loaded sport models for high $25000s. Not too bad when you compare to the sticker.

In response to the OP. No.

I think the problem has more to do with the value of the USA dollar.

Over priced, maybe but you got to love a jeep. I'm buying a new unlimited and was suprised how hard it was to find a standard. everyone on the lot was auto.

mmmmmm, who buys a auto transmission in a jeep??

Check that kbb price against nada and edmunds. I bet they are similar.

I felt the same way when I bought mine. While I love the 6 speed, my next JK will most likely be an auto... With power windows and locks...

I am surprised by the negativity on the price. I think everyone should take some time to compare what they are competitive to in the market.

The Grand is expensive but what is has and what it is capable of compared to its competitors I bilieve it's worth it. It didnt win all the awards for nothing.

The wrangler, self explanatary. It is competitive with the Hummer, FJ, Land Rovers.....not a one is as competitive off the road. Each one of them is much more expensive too. I just bought a 2011 JKU for $34,000 without leather and the nav system. I think it was well worth it.

Not saying people have to agree but when you put the competitors against it, specifically wrangler, I thinks it's worth it.

Remember, your buying a Jeep! If your looking for gas mileage and somthing to go to the grocery store in, get a compass or partiot or find a new manufacturer....

I would say chicks, but that would be disrespectful to girls like my mine who only purchase manuals . This past weekend I went out to test a 6-speed JKU. Couldn't find one within an hour and a half of me, so I didn't get to test drive one. I'm sorry, but I refuse to pay $850 for that absolute piece of junk Chrysler puts in the JK. My Dad has already been through one of those in his Liberty.
